Demostration - Instructor drives

Driving on a race circuit is very different to normal road driving. To make the most of the cars guests will be driving on track you need to learn the racing line and braking points. Our ARDS race instructors will be on hand to help throughout your experience.

The Ford ST models deliver the ultimate hot hatch driving experience. Brilliant chassis combined with spirited engines, and continuously controlled damping make for a range of outstanding cars that come alive on track.

The stunning R8 is Audi's first attempt at a supercar and they got it right the first time. The look of the car is completely different to anything else on the market yet it couldn't be anything else but an Audi. Each R8 is handmade in Germany by specialist teams making each car to a high standard.

What to expect from the Audi R8 Driving Experience

Audi has hit the spot with their first attempt at a supercar. Not only in the handling and performance department but also with the styling, an area which so many manufacturers fail to get right when entering the supercar market.

Out on track the car has the traction you'd expect from Audi with performance that will blow your mind. The 4.2L V8 engines power is delivered through the tyres so effectively, giving you the confidence to push the car harder when driving around the stunning Croft Circuit.

Open the door and drop into the driving seat, the car seems to mould around you, hit the starter button and the V8 bangs into life.

Out on track the car gives incredible levels of grip, even at speed. The aluminium chassis gives great feedback to the driver and urges you to push on more and more. With the V8 screaming away just behind your ear, the nose of the car going exactly where you point it, you won't be able to stop yourself smiling.

Preparing you for this drive is the Ford Puma ST or Focus ST. Time behind the wheel will ensure you are fully comfortable and confident with the lines and technique of driving around Croft Circuit.

To finish the experience. Hold on tight for a high-speed ride with our pro racing driver for a final lap around Croft Circuit.

Audi's four-wheel drive system soaks up the fast sweeping corners at Thruxton whilst the chassis gives lots of feedback to the driver.
