The Ford Mustang is the king of the American muscle cars, with a powerful V8 engine up front and all the power sent to the rear wheels. This car is the latest version of the Mustang, so now the chassis is up to the job of taming that V8 engine.
Our driving experience briefing details the important information you need to know before getting behind the wheel and heading out on track.
Driving on a race circuit is very different to normal road driving. To make the most of the cars guests will be driving on track you need to learn the racing line and braking points. Our ARDS race instructors will be on hand to help throughout your experience.
The Ford ST models deliver the ultimate hot hatch driving experience. Brilliant chassis combined with spirited engines, and continuously controlled damping make for a range of outstanding cars that come alive on track.
As soon as you start the new Ford Mustang, you will fire up a range of advanced technologies that enhance your driving experience in every way, the dual fuel high-pressure direct injection system on the 5.0 Coyote V8 boosts power to 444hp at 7000rpm and the active valve exhaust systems allow you to experience even more of the big V8’s character. Croft circuit gives an ideal opportunity to experience by far the most capable and complete Ford Mustang and now that it's an official UK car, the steering wheel is on the right side!
Your ARDS race instructor will finish the experience off with a high-speed white knuckle ride in the Ford Puma ST or Focus ST.
This experience can be purchased as a gift voucher and is valid for one season only and must be used this year.
This experience operates from Croft Circuit in North Yorkshire.
Drivers must hold a full drivers licence.
On the day drivers must wear clothes that cover their arms and legs.
Helmets, race boots and gloves are provided

Now in its 6th generation. The famous V8 Coupe which produces much more power than even the largest 7-litre cars from the late 60’s, but more importantly now has a sophisticated 21st-century chassis with a multi-link rear axle and Brembo brakes.

Before driving the Ford Mustang guests will have a chance to learn the race circuit with an ARDS-qualified race instructor initially as a passenger and then driving the Ford Puma ST or Focus ST.
