Juniors can now get behind the wheel of a MINI Cooper and learn the essential skills needed to drive a car safely. The circuit's fully qualified ARDS Instructors will be on hand to help teach the core skills and assist drivers to develop their knowledge and enjoy the experience of driving a MINI.

The unique driving experience briefing details the important information you need to know. Our qualified ARDS instructor will take time to explain the fundamental controls of a car - steering, throttle, brakes, clutch and gears. This first session will consist of gentle runs on sections of the track and in the paddock areas at Croft Circuit, building on the skills learnt from your instructor.
This session aims to get pupils travelling faster.
The pupil will complete the course by driving 2 laps of the 2.12-mile International Race Circuit.
This experience can be purchased as a gift voucher and is valid for one season only and must be used this year.
This experience operates from Croft Circuit in North Yorkshire.
Drivers must hold a full drivers licence (except for New Starter Experiences).
On the day drivers must wear clothes that cover their arms and legs.
Helmets, race boots and gloves are provided (not required for New Starter Experiences).

Inside the pack is a personalised presentation card of the driving experience - showing the exact driving experience the recipient will be attending.
It’s never too early to start! If you are not seventeen yet, but older than thirteen, then Croft has the ideal experience to give you the basic driving skills and get you on the racetrack as well! The New Starter Experience aims to help you acquire the basic car control skills that will be invaluable when you apply for a provisional driving licence. Under the expert guidance of your driving instructor, you will learn how to drive a Mini Cooper S smoothly, progressively and importantly under control. This will take place on the track and in and around the paddock areas. Each New Starter Experience is approximately one and a half hours long.
After two driving sessions the pupil completes the course by driving 2 laps of the international 2.12 miles of the race circuit.
These experiences take place on weekdays during school holidays only.
Please note that the minimum age is thirteen years old and you must be over 5' tall.
