Coffee, Cars & Track – The 2nd Edition, Classics & Supercars

Car enthusiasts of all ages gathered at Croft Circuit on Saturday, August 29 for Coffee, Cars & Track, a relaxed morning of cars, coffee, food and the chance to get out on the circuit by car or on foot.

Guests browsed an impressive line-up of vehicles in the paddock, right outside the Hangar50 Café. It made the perfect setting for enthusiasts to swap stories, and organisers were pleased to welcome plenty of returning faces alongside many first-time visitors.

The cars on show ranged from modern supercars such as the McLaren 720S to beautifully kept classics, including a 1959 Mercedes-Benz 220 and a Porsche 964 Carrera 4. Rarer sights included a Morgan Super 3, British Touring Car replicas and American Ford pick-ups.

Max Coates, Business Development Manager at Croft, reflects on the day.

“Our second running of Coffee, Cars & Track was a fun-filled, coffee fuelled visit to the home of motorsport here in Yorkshire. It’s a pleasure to see people getting a firsthand look at the circuit, be it in a car or on foot as part of our lunch time track walk.

It was great to see a full paddock with such a fantastic range of cars. For me though it was about people’s experiences and creating memories, the parade laps gave such an insight into driving the 2.1 mile Croft Circuit and watching people of all ages get the opportunity to do that, is brilliant.”

Guests who took part in the parade laps also got the opportunity to have their photograph taken on the start line.
