MSVR Championships Close Croft’s 2025 Racing Season
The MotorSport Vision Racing Club Car Championships will visit Croft Circuit next weekend (18/19 October) for two days of entertaining action which will bring the curtain down on another exciting season at the Yorkshire track.
A range of series will make their only trip of the year to Croft with Hatchbacks, Pickup Trucks and Volkswagen GTIs all set to compete over the weekend.
The MSVT Trackday Championship will battle it out in their penultimate round as a variety of popular cars including VW Golf GTIs, Honda Civics and Ford Fiestas go head-to-head in a 45-minute showdown on Saturday.
The supporting MSVT Trackday Trophy, which gives anyone with a production-based saloon, hatchback or sports car the chance to race, will also compete for the honours across a 45-minute session on Saturday.
The Production GTI Championship, featuring a plethora of Volkswagens from the 1980s through to 2000s including Siroccos, classic MK2, MK5 and ultra-modern MK7 Golf GTIs, offers some close wheel to wheel racing. They will line up on the grid for the final two races of their season on Saturday.
Something a bit different will take to the circuit when the Pickup Truck Racing Championship contest their final rounds of the year. First launched in 1997, the series is for purpose built 230bhp racing specials with a two-litre engine. They will race in two 15-minute sessions on Saturday before the 20-minute final is held on Sunday afternoon.
Also featuring on Sunday will be the EnduroKa series, who will compete in an epic four-and-a-half-hour race starting at 1.30pm. Each car must have a minimum of two drivers and pits competitors behind the wheels of 1300cc Ford KA MK1 1300s.
On track action starts at 9.30am on Saturday with practice and qualifying with the first race at 12.25pm. The EnduroKa qualifying kicks off Sunday’s timetable at midday before racing starts at 12.55pm.
