750 Motor Club Action Rounds Off Racing Season At Croft
A variety of cars and championships will be in action when the budget-friendly 750 Motor Club returns to Croft Circuit with a packed racing programme this weekend (21/22 September).
It will be the Midlands-based club’s second visit to the track this season with the two-day event featuring eight different series and a wide range of affordable racing machines from single seaters to tin tops taking to the tarmac in a bumper programme of 17 races which will be the final race action at Croft in 2024.
The CALM All Porsche Trophy Series will battle it out in two 15-minute sprint races and a 40-minute pitstop race over the weekend as they head north for their final outing of the season. For single seater fans, the F1000 Championship will also be in action three times with a race on Saturday and two on Sunday. The series sees cars powered by 1000cc high performance motorbike engines pitted against each other, offering some close racing.
There will be plenty of on track activity from BMW, with the German marque featuring heavily over the weekend in several of the races. On Saturday, the BMW Car Club Racing Championship will contest rounds 11 and 12 with a wide variety of M-powered cars lining-up on the grid in search for the honours.
The 116 Sprint Trophy and 120 Coupe Cup will join forces when they also take to the circuit on Saturday in two 15-minute sprint races which will be the finale of their year. The Gaz Shocks 116 Sprint Trophy takes to the track on Sunday featuring a 90-minute race with compulsory pitstops for one, two or three driver teams.
Saturday plays host to the final two rounds of the Armed Forces Race Challenge, which brings together competitors from across all of the forces in a range of cars varying from Lotus Elises and Caterhams to Peugeot 306s and Mazda MX5s whilst the Type R Trophy, the UK’s biggest single make Honda series, will also face a double-header. Sunday’s schedule will also see the Toyota MR2 Championship line-up for two races in their penultimate round of the campaign.
On track action starts at 9.30 on Saturday and 12.00 on Sunday. Adult admission costs £16.50 on both days with accompanied children aged 15 and under admitted FREE on both days. There is also FREE car parking and FREE paddock access.

Following the 750 Motor Club action this weekend, the final spectator event of the season at Croft Circuit will see rallying return with Northallerton AC’s popular Swift Signs and Shirts Winter Stages Rally on Sunday 24th November.
