Job Opportunity: Events Coordinator
Job Description
- To work closely with and report to the Circuit Manager.
- Provide support to the Business Development Manager.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
To assist with set up and co-ordinate General and Pre-Race Testing Days, Car and Bike Track Days, Manufacture Days, Corporate Days, Experience Days & Race Day Hospitality.
Organise the administration and set up of Trade Stands at Race Meetings.
Other General Duties:
Flexibility in your approach is essential as you will be expected to be an active member of the small team at Croft Circuit, which will involve answering the circuit telephones, assisting with enquiries, working on events and being prepared to provide event cover at weekends and evenings as required.
This is only an outline of duties to be covered and the job is not restricted only to these tasks. You are likely to be asked to assist with other duties from time to time.
We are looking for an out-going person to join the team who has good communication and front-of-house customer service skills and can remain calm under pressure.
This person’s work must be accurate, and it is essential to have good IT skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience of managing events is a must for this role.
In return Croft Circuit offers a Pension, Private Health Care and time off in lieu for work over and above regular hours.
This is a Full Time Position to be based at the circuit.
For the purpose of the vacancy, the hours to be worked are generally Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm. However, due to the nature of the business and depending on the type of event, it will sometimes be necessary to start early or finish late.
